Join us Nov 25 at 4pm ET at OER Camp Global 2025. Learnful is excited to share that we’ll be presenting GenOER.org at OER camp global 2025, in a session exploring how generative AI can support the creation and remixing of Open Educational Resources (OER).

GenOER.org is an experimental platform that generates “synthetic OER” — quizzes, summaries, learning activities, and more — using open-licensed content. The goal isn’t to replace educators, but to help the open-education community test new workflows, review systems, and authorship models when AI becomes part of the creation process.
Our Session: Generative OER — Rethinking Authorship and Openness in the Age of AI
📍 Yellow Room
📅 25 November 2025
⏰ 4:00PM (Eastern Time North America)
🔗 Session details: https://go.oercamp.de/global-2025/talk/NVPT7K/
We’ll demo GenOER in real time, discuss licensing and attribution for AI-assisted content, and invite educators, designers, and policy-makers to help shape what “open” means when AI participates in authorship.
Why It Matters
AI can scale the creation of learning materials — but openness requires transparency, review, pedagogy, and human agency. GenOER.org is our way of exploring these questions with the OER community.
